I hold a Bachelor's in political science from the University of Kansas, a teaching license from Washburn University, and ELL certification from Kansas State University. I was a classroom teacher in Topeka Public Schools for nearly a quarter-century, predominantly at 3rd and 8th grade, and also served as an instructional coach.
